Sculptures for TEDxJMU
Dynamic props for easy
storage, setup and transportation.
Following the event's theme of Horizons and a limited budget, I created a set of sculptures reflecting the Shenandoah Valley's mountainous environment.
The shapes can be flat-packed for storage and transportation, and folded out for setup and use. A total of 18 pieces were created using the positive and negative shapes cnc'd from three 4' x 8' sheets of MDF. Two colors were used to follow the brand of TED.
