Angled Lighting

An experiment in inspirational process

The purpose was to search for inspiration from irregular sources. Inspiration gained from these included literal/abstract forms and ideas like shape, function and texture.

Three sources used were -

a coconut
an armadillo
a hand carved wooden case

Models were studied in different scales and used to explore negative space for light expansion.
